Double glazing refers to a window that consists of two panes of glass. The window’s key component is the insulated glass unit (IGU) sitting in a frame made of timber, aluminium, or uPVC. The IGU consists of two glass sheets separated by a spacer bar to form an air gap filled with an insulating gas like Argon. The main advantage of double glazing is thermal insulation. Thermal insulation being the ability to retain heat in a room while stopping the outside cold air, making your rooms more energy-efficient.
We can. However, in these instances we would prefer for you to send us a photo as generally we can price double glazed units from a photo
We can offer triple glazing but in most instances in the UK, triple glazing is not required and comes at a cost. Triple glazing is also not a solution to noise reduction and you would be better using acoustic laminated glass for this.
We will sort it. Just give us a call to explain the issue or send us an email with photos and we will contact you to arrange an engineer visit (if
required).

Condensation forms on windows when warm air from inside collides with the cold glass surface. When this collision happens, the air reaches its ‘dew point’, where the moisture held in the warm air condenses and merges to become visible water droplets. Condensation on windows typically happens in winter because low outdoor temperatures make the window pane colder, and heating makes inside air warmer. Our advice would be to ensure the room is kept suitably ventilated to avoid condensation.
Aluminium. We do not offer any bi- fold doors in uPVC and would always advise against using this material on these doors
